Manchester Paintball
Delta Forces manchester paintball centre also known as Yankeewood, is one of the newest sites of Delta Forces 24 paintball centres. Yankeewood is situated very close to the bustling market town of Chorley, surrounded by forest and woodland. The location of Yankeewood makes it an ideal location for paintballers to play who enjoy playing amongst trees (Woodsball). In total Yankeewood has 6 game zones for players to choose from including a large speedball arena as well as a Vietnamese village.
If you are playing for the whole day at Yankeewood then you can either bring your own food or pre-order a pizza for ?5 to be delivered to you hot at lunchtime.
The pyrotechnics available on site include thunderflashes, smoke grenades and paint grenades.

By Train
The closest train station to Yankeewood is Adlington Rail Station which is not within walking distance to Yankeewood. It is advisable to jump in a taxi which should take just over 5 minutes to get you to our centre. Two local taxi services are listed below,

By Car from the M6
Take the exit at Junction 27 on the M6 and then take the A5209. Once you get to the roundabout take the 3rd exit (if your coming from M6 northbound) or 1st exit (if you coming from M6 southbound) which will take you onto Crow Orchard Road and continue driving for 0.5 miles. Turn left at the junction of Crow Orchard Road and Shevington Lane, and continue driving for just under 1 mile driving past the Total Petrol Station on the right. Continue driving on the A5209 and go around the left hand bend, where the name of the road changes to School Lane after 0.3 miles. Drive through two sets of traffic lights and drive onto the B5239 also called Market Street. Continue driving to the roundabout on the B5239 where the road will change to Rectory Lane. Take the first exit on this roundabout which will take you onto the A5106 (Chorley Road) and then continue driving for 2 miles. The road name will change to Wigan Lane and then you will enter Coppull. Go past the Thyme and Place restaurant on your right and then the gate's to the Paintball arena will be a further 300 yards on the right.
By Car from the M61
Driving in from the M61 follow the signs for Chorley, and then follow the signs for the M6. Once you get to the traffic lights that have the Federicks Ice Cream Dairy on your left take the right hand turn. Follow this road past the sand quarry and the paintball centre will be a further 300 yards on your left.
